Unforgettable moments on foot
The wine cultural landscape around Bernkastel-Kues is the perfect region for long walks and wonderful hikes with excellent views all year round. Along the banks of the Moselle, through the vineyards or – far away from any hecticness – you can experience different views through the adjoining forests.
Exploration on the river
Take a tour upriver or downriver and enjoy the incomparable panorama of Central Moselle from the water – and cruise past the world famous vineyard locations as well as picturesque wine locations and often topped off with passage through the locks. There are two boat trip companies in Bernkastel-Kues that offer tours on the picturesque river from May until October.
Relaxation on two wheels
Pedalling rhythmically or driving along the Moselle on a motorbike – past the dreamy winegrowing villages with colourful half-timbered houses and the lively town of Mosel with ancient Roman history. The left and right of the river are always accompanied by the steep wine-growing slopes and terraces where mountain bikers can find the perfect tours and trails.
We offer free, safe parking spaces for your bicycles. And you can also safely park your motorcycles in the private visitor’s car park.
